Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

PALS is geared towards healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children and for personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. 

PALS Provider Initial (2 Day)

PALS Provider (Initial)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is the AHA preferred course for experienced Healthcare Providers and Medical Personnel.

Hybrid Format: Precourse work + In-class session

Precourse Work: Participants must complete the PALS Precourse Self-Assessment and Precourse Work through eLearning.heart.org/course/426.

​

Successful completion of the PALS Precourse Work is REQUIRED to attend the in-class session. NO EXCEPTIONS.

​

Certification: Upon successful course completion participants will receive a AHA PALS Provider eCard (valid for 2 years).

​

Manual: Participants may bring their own PALS Provider manual (2020 AHA edition only) or purchase the ebook online.

PALS HeartCode (Blended Learning)

HeartCode PALS is the AHA’s blended learning delivery method for the AHA’s PALS Course. HeartCode blended learning delivers quality resuscitation education regardless of where providers are located and gives them more control to complete the course at their own pace.

Providers first complete the online portion of HeartCode PALS and then complete a hands-on skills session with an AHA PALS Instructor or a HeartCode compatible manikin.

Access to the PALS Provider Manual eBook (20-3120) is included with HeartCode PALS. You will be able to access the Provider Manual from within the course.

This product has been updated with new science from the 2020 Guidelines for CPR and ECC and replaces the previous version (15-1412).

PALS UpDate (Refresher)
